RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE Guitarist Thinks There Will Be More Global Riots
Following the riots that broke out last week in the UK after a police shooting of an unarmed man, Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello predicted more riots and uprisings around the world.
Morello told Kerrang! that the youth of today will rise up and affect sweeping political change unless those in charge manage the countries they are supposed to lead in a better manner.
"It's a time of global unrest because the poor and the working class have clearly had enough," Morello declared. "The world is not in the hands of people who deserve to run it and as long as the profit motive continues to be the political priority, the gap between rich and poor is going to grow, as will the unrest."
