Band Promo Photos 101
I always thought Canada's BLASPHEMY was a four piece band not a three piece. Oh wait, there is the guitarist, Caller of the Storms, looking all ghostly in the back. (see below) Usually it is white people that look like a ghost, not a black guy as seen in one of the band's early promo photos below. Band photos are really important. Just because your friend has a great new camera doesn't mean she knows how to use it. Lighting is key. I know in metal you want that 'we don't care' look, but this promo shot takes it a little too the extreme.
Canada's Blasphemy are one of those band's that have been around for eons that few people pay attention to but when they do, they generally enjoy the band's black / death stylings. According to Metal Archives, Blasphemy came into existence in 1984 with their first full length being released six years later.
