CONVERGE Health Scare Forces Show Cancelations
CONVERGE has canceled the remaining dates on its current U.S. tour after Nate Newton (bass) had a "health scare." According to the band, "We rushed [Nate] to the nearest ER, where he was looked at by some fine Oklahoma doctors. After a night's stay in the hospital and a battery of tests, we were able to have him discharged."
CONVERGE played an abbreviated set last night at Chaos In Tejas in Austin, Texas, where band frontman, Jacob Bannon, took a moment to address Newton's health issues from the stage (see below).
