SERPENTCULT Signs With Listenable Records
SERPENTCULTwas born in the summer of 2006 by Frédéric Caure, Steven Van Cauwenbergh and Frederik 'Cozy' Cosemans in a classic power-trio setup. A few months later, Michelle Nocon joined the ranks on vocals and soon thereafter, the first EP Trident Nor Fire was recorded and released. The first European live appearances started in 2007, soon followed by concerts all over the continent.
This eventually lead to signing a record deal with London based Rise Above Records in 2008
and a few months later, the debut full-length Weight Of Light was released.
Following the success of the first album, SERPENTCULT soon started touring Europe again,
and in the summer of 2009 the band also did a two week trek throughout North America.
Early 2010 was marked by the departure from vocalist Michelle Nocon. The band decided to continue as a three-piece and to explore their boundaries even further. That summer, SERPENTCULT also recorded their second album Raised By Wolves, together with the help of some close friends/musicians. Raised By Wolves will be released in the summer of 2011 by the French label Listenable Records.
