Two Hundred Dollar Big 4 Pre Sale Tickets Go On Sale Today

With the success of the Big 4 event in Indio two weeks ago, it became monetarily clear that there would be another Big 4 soon. Less than a week later, it was announced that a New York Big 4 date was added with tickets going on sale soon. Last night, a presale was announced for Yankee season ticket holders and Metallica Fanclub members for floor seats. Floor or general admission tickets start at $179.50 plus ticket fees and go up from there. This is much more expensive than the $199 VIP general admission and $99 general admission tickets available for Indio, CA's Big 4 at the Empire Polo Fields.
Even non-Ticketmaster scalpers are benefiting from the Big 4. Floor tickets for the sole New York date are already pushing $1,000 and up. One thing is for sure, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich is smiling at all of this. For those of you that have attended a Big 4, was it worth $230+?
