DREAM THEATER Get All Reality TV On Fans; Announce Drummer Finalists

DREAM THEATER has posted a video on their Facebook page (don't go as it is using some bullshit fanbridge lock that will spam you and we have posted the video below). In the video, the band discusses what emotions they felt when drummer Mike Portnoy announced he left the band for Avenged Sevenfold last year. The video also reveals the finalist drummers that are 'competing reality tv style' for a chance to win the coveted prize of Dream Theater drummer. The video even includes an ominous voiceover guy.

I don't know if this was the bands idea, but it really makes a joke of the bands drummer selection process. No doubt will have a great drummer, but the band really cheapened the process with this.

Drummers competing are Thomas Lang, Aquiles Priester, Virgil Donati, Mike Mangini, Marco Minneman, Derek Roddy, and Peter Wildoer.
