CHIMAIRA Not Over, Announces New Members

Chimaira Mark from Chimaira took to the bands Ustream channel to discuss the band this evening. He started off the chat stating "We are not going away anytime soon". He went on to talk about dark times for the band during the 2009 and 2010 recording sessions with Andols Herrick not being 100% with the band. "It did not feel right to force something. We spent so many great experiences on the road with Andols and Chris. We felt deep in our hearts we could continue without Andols."

Mark went on to say "we went on into the studio without Chris and Andols and did what we do and made the best album we possibly could for you guys."

Austin D'Amond (Bleed the Sky) will be taking over on drums for the band, and Sean Z from Daath will be replacing Chris Spacuzza on keyboards and programming.

The band's new lineup is:

Mark Hunter - vocals
Rob Arnold - guitar
Matt DeVries - guitar
Emil Werstler (DAATH) - bass
Sean Zatorsky (Daath) - keyboards/samples
Austin D'Amond (BLEED THE SKY, THE ELITE) – drums
