Stick to Your Guns prepare for tour

Stick to Your Guns Bursting at the seams with a vibrant energy and overall positivity comes the Orange County sensation STICK TO YOUR GUNS, who will embark on a much anticipated North American tour as direct support to Norma Jean on the “Explosions II” tour. The trek kicks off on March 3rd at The Glasshouse in Pomona, CA and also features Impending Doom and Of Legends. Be sure to either see below or visit www.facebook.com/stygoc now to view their entire touring schedule.
Jesse Barnett (vocals) states: “We're all very excited to kick off our first U.S. tour of 2011 with a band as prominent as Norma Jean. We expect to play to people who may not be completely aware of what STYG is and we hope to gain a lot of new supporters as a result. This line-up is diverse and we will be sure to offer our aggressive, yet positive brand of hardcore to the mix. Norma Jean is timeless and their impact has been felt on me since the first time I saw them, which was ten years ago now. Most importantly, we are all anxious to make
new friends and smash every city that this tour hits! It's bound to be a great time.”
George Schmitz (drums) further comments: “Norma Jean has been an extremely influential band in my life. This tour is surreal; getting to watch them play every night will be nothing short of amazing.”
STICK TO YOUR GUNS latest offering, The Hope Division, is the soundtrack to the new hardcore/punk revolution. Visionary Jesse Barnett was originally inspired to form a band that would provide him with a medium to project his view points and reflect his musical influences and he continues to do just that to this very day bringing a new stable of accomplished musicians on board. STYG blends melody, heaviness, and sincerity into one solid sound that is nothing short of spectacular.
