Nanowar of Steel is so gay, but I love them
I have never been a fan of power metal. I find it an almost pointless subgenre of metal. But that all changed last week when I was introduced to Nanowar of Steel and I can't stop listening to their new album "Into Gay Pride Ride".
The band was originally just Nanowar, then power metallers Rhapsody became Rhapsody of Fire and Nanowar felt the urge to update their band name also.
Nanowar is not a Manowar tribute band or even a metal cover band, they are a gay metal parody band as they put it. The songs range from metal parodies like "Master of Pizza" to songs like my personal favorite "Odino and Valhalla" (see below).
Be sure to follow or like or befriend these guys on Facebook and buy the album.
