Apocalyptica to pay 45,000EUR for Rammstein trademark infringment
Apocalyptica has been ordered to pay 45,000€ stemming from an advertising campaign in Germany from the bands 2007 release "Worlds Collide". The judgment was entered in Germany late last week awarding compensation to Rammstein for trademark infringement.
In 2007, the Finnish cellist group, Apocalyptica, released "Worlds Collide" featuring many guest musicians, including Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann. Promoting the albums release on stickers, magazines and posters were the words "featuring Rammstein" which wasn't authorized by the band.
