Deadly Apples releases footage of recording session with Korn's James 'Munky' Shaffer
Montreal-based post-industrial rock band Deadly Apples just released video footage of Korn's James 'Munky' Shaffer recording guitar tracks for two songs off the band's upcoming album.
The video can be found below.
Deadly Apples – Martel (vocals, samples, tambourine), Antoine Lamothe (drums, keyboards), Gabriel Maurice (bass), Daniel Pelletier (guitar) – have been working for several months on the band's new upcoming full-lenght album, set for a 2011 release.
The band shared the stage numerous times with Korn, including last year's Heavy MTL festival. ''I have known James for several years and he's been very generous of his time,'' says Alex Martel, Deadly Apples frontman and founder. ''We've been around for seven years, always doing our own thing and never trying to fit into any trend – that is what defines us and what assures longevity.''
