All Shall Perish begin work on fourth album
Oakland, California extreme metal band ALL SHALL PERISH has begun working on their fourth album and follow up to their 2008 release Awaken the Dreamers. Guitarist Ben Orum had this to say about the bands new material:
"After two very successful tours at home and abroad, we are now home writing the new ALL SHALL PERISH record! The writing process is flowing very naturally, and so far the material itself is very impressive. It is safe to say this will be one of the most aggressive, epic, groovy records we have ever written. I can not wait to start playing this material live"
ALL SHALL PERISH recently parted ways with original drummer Matt Kuykendall. The group stated at the time, "It's always tough to part ways with a long-time member and friend, but it was absolutely necessary in order to maintain forward progress." A four-minute video message introducing new drummer Adam Pierce can be viewed below.
The new album will also mark the recording debut of guitar virtuoso Francesco Artusato from Treviso, Italy. Examples of his playing may be found here http://www.myspace.com/francescoartusatomusic
