Priestess prepare for tour
Montreal hard rock heavyweight PRIESTESS will roll out a fall U.S. headlining tour in support of its critically celebrated album Prior to the Fire tomorrow evening in Philadelphia, PA. The two week trek will include support from Brooklyn trio NAAM. The tour's official admat can be viewed at this location.
"2010 has been a great year for PRIESTESS, but we're not nearly done yet," commented front man Mikey Heppner. "We're ready to bring the heat yet again. See you at the shows."
With a sound built upon a resolute sense of purpose and shaped by hundreds of explosive live shows, PRIESTESS delivers a sound that blends majestic power, titanic riffs and memorable metal with progressive rock, hard psych elements and the powerful, expressive vocals of Heppner. The band made a splash at this year's SXSW festival before hitting the road for a full North American tour with HIGH ON FIRE. A recent headlining tour of Canada and an appearance at Pop Montreal 2010 has the band at the peak of its powers.
In addition to Heppner, PRIESTESS features Dan Watchorn (guitar, backing vocals), Mike Dyball (bass) and Vince Nudo (drums, percussion, backing vocals).
