Corey Taylor among musical greats like Britney Spears and Lil Wayne

Stone Sour (2010) It's got to be any frontman's dream to be recognized by an outside body for your talents. And when they want to give you an award or something on a tv show and also film a mini documentary, that's pretty sweet. Then to find out Britney Spears and Lil Wayne are also being honored along with you...such a let down. It's like finding out Chris Hansen from MSNBC wants to speak with you and then he tells you to 'have a seat over there young man'.

Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor is the focus of the October 31th premiere of "Mad Genius" -- a new Fuse TV music documentary series which looks into the minds of wildly successful pioneers in music. With Taylor standing alongside Lil Wayne and Britney Spears to name some other "Mad Geniuses", the 30 minute episode takes a look at what drives him. With testimonials from bandmates, music executives, fellow artists and those close to the brilliant singer, we learn how Corey achieved his fame and fortune despite the demons and personal struggles he has been faced with.

"'Mad Genius' looks past the sensational headlines and gossip to explore the vision and contributions of artists whose talent and creativity are often overshadowed by their personal lives," said Sal LoCurto, senior vice president of programming at Fuse. "Each episode offers a unique perspective about the various artists, which will be a great addition to Fuse's original programming slate, as well as another example of our commitment to bringing viewers closer to their favorite performers."

The show will air at 1 p.m. EST on Fuse. Don't miss it!
