New frontman in HateSphere
After several auditions in Copenhagen, Hatesphere is now ready to announce their new frontman, Esben "Esse” Hansen and a string of German and Austrian live dates.
Esben "Esse" Hansen, who also sings in As We Fight, immediately joins the ranks of Hatesphere. However, bassist Mixen Lindberg has chosen to leave Hatesphere for other projects. Mixen is temporarily replaced by the old Hatesphere-member Mikael Ehlert until the end of 2010.

Earlier this year, Jonathan Albrechtsen left Hatesphere just before their first U.S. tour with The Black Dahlia Murder. Esse and Ehlert can now look forward to a six-week long U.S. and Canada tour stretching from September 23rd - November 5th where Hatesphere supports Nevermore along with Warbringer and Mutiny Within.
Esse comments:
"It didn't take me much time to decide that I wanted to be the new singer of Hatesphere. Besides making some of the best metal music on Danish soil Hatesphere is one of the coziest bands in Denmark. And I'm very excited to be a permanent part of it all. Looking forward to screaming my lungs out for you on stage!"
Pepe comments:
"After having searched up and down and in between we're honored to present Esse as new frontman in HateSphere. He's got the qualities that we have been looking for but which have shown very hard to find. He's got a brutal varied voice that will be a pleasure to hear in HateSphere. He's got the necessary experience you will only get by playing tons of shows in front of big and small crowds. He knows what he is getting into - and last but not least he's a great guy! Welcome to HateSphere - we look forward to kicking major ass!"
Furthermore, fans from Denmark, Spain and Portugal can expect more live dates soon.
