Hatebreed announce Canadian dates
With a rejuvenated energy, metal-heads everywhere anticipate the hardcore tour-de-force set to hit their city this summer - metalcore-moguls HATEBREED embark on a string of Canadian dates in September, treating fans to a block of eight shows in nine days. E1 Music label-mates Straight Line Stitch support HATEBREED's Canadian stretch as the opening band.
Heralded for their boot-to-teeth trademark style, HATEBREED kicks off their visit to Canada following an action-packed U.S. summer tour and international appearances at the Reading and Leeds festivals in the United Kingdom. The tour builds on the success of HATEBREED's last two albums both released in 2009: the self-titled Hatebreed and For The Lions, the latter creatively covers heavy-metal icons such as SLAYER, MISFITS and SEPULTURA. HATEBREED's accolades include a 2004 Grammy nod for the song Live For This, an unprecedented four stints on the Ozzfest bill, a Billboard Music DVD Chart #1 in Live Dominance, countless magazine covers (Revolver, Decibel, Hails and Horns) and critically-acclaimed past releases, selling over one million albums in North America
Among the support acts on this run will be E1 Music label mates STRAIGHT LINE STITCH who will appear on each of the Canadian tour dates. SLS recently spent time in the studio working on their next album and are looking forward to the challenge of playing in front of HATEBREED's die hard Canadian fans after more recent runs with DEVILDRIVER, 36 CRAZYFISTS, HED P.E. and many more.
