Ozzy Osbourne blasts Dio Funeral Protestors, discusses Tony Iommi
Legendary heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne appeared on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" with host Bob Coburn Monday night. During the appearance Ozzy shed light on the nature of his current relationship with Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi, following a recently settled lawsuit over the use of the Black Sabbath name.
In response to a callers question, Osbourne revealed the last time he spoke to Iommi. Osbourne said " I spoke to Mr. Iommi just the day after Ronnie James Dio's funeral." Osbourne went on to say "I'm going to England tomorrow and I hope to meet up with him and have a chat with him about old times."
Ozzy also blasted the Westboro Baptist church's protest of Ronnie James Dio's Funeral. "I thought it was in such bad taste that those people had those banners about Ronnie James Dio. That's disgusting. They say that we're the anti-christ, well what makes them any better?"
