Murderdolls to play two So Cal dates
Murderdolls, the recently resurrected glam/punk/rock project of Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison and his cohort Wednesday 13, will play two shows in California later this month, casting a fiendish shadow over the warm and sunny Golden State with their brand of irreverent, middle-finger-in-the-air rock ‘n' roll. The band's long awaited second album, Women and Children Last, is slated for release through Roadrunner this August.
The band will play the Glass House in Pomona on June 15 and will follow up that show with an appearance at the Key Club in Los Angeles on June 17.
As soon as fans caught wind of the shows, the venues were bombarded with phone calls demanding more information. The calls came from fans across the globe, from locations as vast and varied as Russia, the UK, and well, Texas. It's clear that interest in the Murderdolls is burning at a fevered pitch, since they merely played 15 shows on US soil in support of their debut, Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls, way back in 2002.
