Torche robbed in Chicago

Torche Torche's van was broken into last night in Chicago, IL (the group is currently on tour with Coheed and Cambria and Circa Survive). Items taken include musical gear, laptops, electronics, and passports.

The band had the following to say:

"Last night in Chicago our van got broken into and a bunch of our equipment got stolen. Among the stolen equipment was both of Jon's bass guitars (custom First Act and custom Electrical Guitar Company), our new guitar player's custom guitar, Steve's black Les Paul custom, Steve and Jon's pedal boards, all our guitar stands, bags of cables and strings, and a bunch of personal bags that included check books, passports, IDs, etc."

"Since 3 out of the 5 of us lost our passports, we won't be able to play our shows in Canada now on May 18th and 19th. We're trying to find anyone interested in setting up last minute house shows/small bar shows around the Northeast to try and make some extra money. The total of all our shit that got ripped off easily exceeds $10,000 and we just borrowed money to put a down payment on a new van before this trip, so we're in a bad situation right now.

"If anyone thinks they might be able to help us out with shows in the Northeast on May 18th, 19th, and 20th, it would be greatly appreciated!

"Forgot to mention, Jon also lost his bass amp too..."
