Cavalera Conspiracy to finish sophomore album this month
As vocalist/guitarist Max Cavalera prepares to release Soulfly's 7th studio album Omen and drummer Igor Cavalera continues to work on Mixhell, his electronic project with his wife Laima, the brothers that make up the core of Cavalera Conspiracy have carved out enough time to finish tracking the follow-up to their 2008 debut album Inflikted earlier this month.
Recording with producer Logan Mader in co-production with Max, the Cavaleras recruited their touring bassist Johny Chow (Fireball Ministry, Souls of We) to play bass on the album, as former Cavalera co-conspirator Joe Duplantier of Gojira was busy with his band's next album. The forthcoming Cavalera Conspiracy album is slated for an early 2011 release.
