Charred Walls of the Damned announce first live show
Richard Christy from CHARRED WALLS OF THE DAMNED has issued the following update:
"As I watch my fifth favorite movie of all time, John Carpenter's Prince Of Darkness (In HD on FIOS Cinemax On Demand which rules because it's not out on Blu Ray yet!) I have some really exciting news to announce, the first of many upcoming Charred Walls Of The Damned live shows! We will be opening for the legendary DREAM THEATER on Saturday July 10th at the Palladium in Worcester, MA! It's such an honor to play with one of my favorite bands and to share the stage with one of my drum idols Mike Portnoy! This is only the first of many Charred Walls Of the Damned live shows that we will be announcing very soon.
Also, tomorrow is a big day for me and all of my fellow COHEED AND CAMBRIA fans because it's the release date for their new album, Year Of The Black Rainbow! I just got my deluxe box set in the mail and it is awesome! The new album is incredible and you should definitely check it out!
I also want to give a huge thanks to Chad Brandolini and all of my friends over at Vater Percussion. They make the most amazing drumsticks ever and I've been using their products for many years now. They surprised me the other day by sending me a box of Custom Richard Christy Charred Walls Of The Damned labeled drumsticks! They said if they get enough interest they might even make some available to the public which is super cool!
I also have an article in the legendary drumming magazine Modern Drummer coming out later this month which is a massive honor for me. I've been reading that magazine religiously since I was 10 years old! I'll have more info on that very soon!
Well I think that's all for now, take care everybody and Keep It Metal!
Richard Christy"
