Heaven Shall Burn to release 'Invictus' this June

Heaven Shall Burn Germany's hardcore infused death metal outfit, Heaven Shall Burn, has announced that their latest full-length effort, Invictus, is set to release in North America on June 8th, courtesy of Century Media Records. Invictus is the third part of the "Iconoclast" story, following the 2008 release, Iconoclast (#21 in the German Media Control Charts), and the 2009 DVD, Bildersturm (German DVD Charts #3, album charts #54, Austrian DVD Charts #9).
Like it's predecessors, Invictus [the full title of which is Invictus (Iconoclast III)] will again tell stories about unconventional heroes, while shedding a different light on well-known idols and legends.
A full track list, explaining the background stories of each song, will be revealed on the Century Media Facebook page, at www.facebook.com/centurymedia (discussions), starting April 5th, while a brand new track is set to debut on the band's MySpace (www.myspace.com/officialheavenshallburn), on April 9th.
Invictus was recorded at Tue Madsen's Antfarm Studio in Aarhus, Denmark, and produced by Heaven Shall Burn's guitarists Maik Weichert and Alexander Dietz.
Heaven Shall Burn will kick off the Invictus touring cycle in June, with performances already scheduled for some of this summer's largest festivals, including Germany's Rock am Ring/Rock im Park and With Full Force, followed by a headlining European run this fall.
Since releasing Iconoclast in 2008, Heaven Shall Burn has released their first ever DVD, Bildersturm, toured the US for the first time, headlined a European tour, played numerous festival dates (Groezrock, Greenfield, Summerblast, With Full Force, Illosaarirock, Dour, Summerbreeze, Wacken, Hellfest, Vainstream), and appeared on such high profile tours as the Taste Of Chaos tour, and the Darkness Over X-Mas tour.
Stay tuned for more information regarding Heaven Shall Burn and Invictus.
