Killing Machine confirmed for Bloodstock Open Air Festival, UK


Killing Machine KILLING MACHINE - the US Metal band featuring former members of Stratovarius, Slayer, Testament and Temple of Brutality have confirmed another European Festival appearance at Bloodstock Open Air www.bloodstock.uk.com in the UK on 15th August 2010. The festival runs from 13th to 15th August.

The bands' festival schedule so far is
26 June - Graspop Metal Meeting, Dessel, BELGIUM www.graspop.be
29 July - Headbangers Open Air, Brande-Hörnerkirchen, near Elmshorn, GERMANY www.headbangers-open-air.de
5-7 August - Wacken Open Air, Wacken, GERMANY www.wacken.com
15 August - Bloodstock Open Air, Catton Hall, Derbyshire, UK www.bloodstock.uk.com

As previously reported KILLING MACHINE are due to re-locate to Europe for the rest of 2010 and will be announcing details of more festival appearances and a full European tour.

KILLING MACHINE recently added bass guitarist Jari Kainulainen (Evergrey / Stratovarius) to their ranks. Jari completes the band line up of Csaba Zvekan (Sardonyx) - Vocals, Peter Scheithauer (Temple of Brutality / Belladonna) - Guitar, Jari Kainulainen (Evergrey / Stratovarius) - Bass Guitar and John Dette (Slayer / Testament) - Drums.

The band have posted six new songs at ww.myspace.com/killingmachineusa Namely 'Skull and Bone', 'Hell Raiser', 'Free Nation', 'Black Sun', 'Nailed To The Cross' and 'Morning Star'.

KILLING MACHINE have released two albums, the self titled 'Killing Machine' in 2000 via Candlelight Records and the critically acclaimed 'Metalmorphis' in 2006 via Mausoleum Records which has been hailed by many as one of the all time classic metal albums. The two albums featured a multitude of musicians including James Rivera (HELSTAR, VICIOUS RUMOURS), Jimmy DeGrasso (Y&T), Juan Garcia (AGENT STEEL), Dave Ellefson (MEGADETH), Stet Howland (WASP), Mike Duda (WASP), Mike Vescara (OBSESSION, LOUDNESS)
