Top 10 Concert Riots

Rage Against the Machine - Minneapolis, MN
Trouble broke out on downtown Minneapolis streets and police arrested 102 people who had attended the concert, according to the Joint Information Center which is coordinating security in connection with the Republican National Convention in St. Paul.
Guns N' Roses - Montreal, Canada
August 1992, Axl Rose canceled the performance due to a sore through setting the stage for an epic riot, Canadian style.
Alice Cooper - Toronto Canada
Guns N' Roses - Maryland
In 1991, Guns N' Roses walked off stage during a show in Maryland Heights, Mo. after Axl Rose jumped into the crowd to stop a fan from filming the show with a video camera. He said he was going home and blamed security after being pulled back on stage, which led to a full-scale riot in the stadium with many people being injured.
Guns N' Roses - St. Louis
In July 1991, during the early stages of the 28-month-long Use Your Illusion Tour, Rose jumped off stage during a concert in St. Louis to take a video camera away from a fan. The concert was aborted as Rose threw his microphone down and stormed off stage saying "Thanks to the lame-ass security, I'm going home!" The other band members followed and the house lights came on, sparking an intense riot that caused significant damage to both the newly-constructed arena and Guns N' Roses' equipment and instruments. Rose was blamed for the melee, and was charged with four counts of misdemeanor assault and one charge of property damage, for which he was arrested in 1992. Guns N Roses were also banned from St. Louis for life. The case eventually went to trial in late 1992, and resulted in a conviction, two years' probation and a US $50,000 fine for Rose.
Marilyn Manson - Kansas City, MO
In 2003 a Marilyn Manson show was halted due to safety concerns leading up to 3,000 fans to begin rioting. Fans threw bottles, overturned police cars and were eventually dispersed by riot police.
Metallica - Santiago, Chili
The most recent metal riot happened just a month ago in Chile. As hundreds of Metallica fans were left outside the gates due to not having tickets to gain entry, they began surging forward. Military showed up to calm things down.
Atari Teenage Riot - Berlin, Germany
1999, political electronic thrashers took to the streets with the sole purpose of starting a riot...and that they did. The band was later arrested.
Black Sabbath - Milwaukee, WI
One of the greatest audio testaments to a concert riot that exists. Just the third song into the show (Sabbath had already played War Pigs and Neon Knights), Dio gives the nod to Geezer to start N.I.B. All that happens is a thud...which is presumably Geezer hitting the floor after some jackass threw a bottle and hit him in the head. Dio turns on the lights and lectures the crowd a bit. Then the road manager and tour promoter come out and give a brief statement. Sabbath does not come back though, and the crowd gets pissed. Supposedly dozens were arrested and there was $10,000 damage to the arena.
Iron Maiden - Bogata, Colombia
Over 111 arrests made after fans jumped over security barriers to get closer to the stage. Military was called out leading officials to question whether metal should be banned from Colombia in the future.
