SILENT CIVILIAN Post New Track

Silent Civilian Brutal, intense, uncompromising and unrelenting are just a few words that one will use to describe the vicious new SILENT CIVILIAN album, Ghost Stories. This highly anticipated new album is set for a May 18th release and the band has teamed up exclusively with Revolver Magazine to present the worldwide debut of the track 'Atonement.' Click here now to check it out.

Jonny Santos (vocals) further describes the meaning behind the track: "The song "Atonement" is basically about being cast away by someone you respect, love and hold in high regards. Lost loyalty, yet still holding on to what was once true. I was lyrically inspired by someone whom I loved and adored, but whom was too swayed by the next door neighbor's lawn instead of watering their own. People need to think twice before making decisions they will regret for years to come. We play the song live and it has been met with nothing but praise. It's a combination of tragedy and violence. It differs from the rest of the album in the sense of being more of melodic, yet shows how the band has grown adhering to no boundaries. This is atonement.”

SILENT CIVILIAN is currently wrapping up a headlining trek, so be sure to head over now to www.myspace.com/silentcivilian to view their remaining dates and stay tuned here for all news, tour announcements and the amazing new video for "Last One Standing," shot by the acclaimed director Scott Hansen (A Day To Remember, Alesana, A Skylit Drive, Carnifex).

The band stormed onto the metal scene with their stunning debut offering, Rebirth of The Temple, in 2006 led by Spineshank vocalist Jonny Santos, who used this platform to unleash all of his inner demons. This was an extremely aggressive outing that took the scene by storm and its follow-up looks to take everything to the next level. This is the new wave of thrash metal.
