The Funeral Pyre recording new album
California death metal/black metal outfit The Funeral Pyre is currently recording their next album. The group has issued the following update:
"We have eight songs tracked (drums only) and are shooting for the end of this week to wrap all of the drums up. Then, we'll start the guitars and proceed from there. I can give you two song titles, one of which we've played live, 'Vultures' and 'Monolith' are two tracks that will be on the record. We're still mulling over what the name of the record will be."
The effort is expected to surface this summer via Prosthetic Records.
