Throwdown to host Headbanger's Ball
THROWDOWN will be hosting an episode of MTV2's Headbanger's Ball on January 19, 2009 at 3AM. They'll be debuting two brand new music videos for songs "This Continuum" and "The Scythe" from their latest full length DEATHLESS. Frontman Dave Peters will be answering questions about the new record, where the band has been and where the band is headed in 2010.
The clips for "The Scythe" and "This Continuum" are more than just traditional music videos. Instead, they are two "scenes" from a short form feature film inspired by Throwdown's DEATHLESS directed by Cale Glendening, who had made acclaimed documentaries for Demon Hunter and Relient K. "We stepped back and asked ourselves what would we'd appreciate from our favorite bands," Peters explained. "And we wanted to offer [something unique] to our fans."
THROWDOWN'S new album, DEATHLESS was released in November on E1 to extraordinary critical praise. DEATHLESS has been hailed as the bands most powerful and diverse offering to date.
