South African Metal Festival to set World Record

MotherFUDD The Gathering is an annual Heavy Metal & Hard Rock Gathering which helps bands promote their own special music.
It is not a commercial event.
MotherFudd is unique in it's own little way, it is about friendship & heavy metal.
It has become a brotherhood over the last few years.
The bands are MotherFudd's first priority.

This is a self financed event and only the best sound, stage, lights & venue are provided by MotherFudd for the bands. It is a camp-over event. The Gathering is something special & through music, binds us together.

We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the FIRST EVER Official Guinness World Record for
THE MOST PEOPLE HEADBANGING SIMULTANEOUSLY!!!
The record will be set on 13 March 2010 at 2pm.

MotherFUDD 2010 will be held at the acclaimed Malonjeni Guest Farm from 12 - 14 March 2010 and will be host to 21 of South Africa's top metal bands as well as our record attempt. Other activities include Bubble Ball, Game Drives, Swimming, Camping, much beer-swilling and arm-in-arm metal camaraderie!
