Metallica issue end of year update

Metallica (2008) METALLICA have issued the following year-end update:

"The North American version of the World Magnetic tour is now over . . . a gigantic thanks to everyone who came out to the shows to support us. Of course we're not done yet!! 2010 takes the band to Latin America in the first part of the year and back to Europe in the Spring, including many first time visits. Then June rolls around with more Sonisphere Festival dates as part of the Big Four - Metallica, SLAYER, MEGADETH and ANTHRAX all on one stage together for the first time ever, along with other special guests on select shows including MOTÖRHEAD and HEAVEN & HELL. For all the dates and ticketing information, head over to www.metallica.com and keep watching early next year as there definitely will be more shows to tell you about!

The Holiday Remains:

The Metallica store elves are packing up your orders and you still have time to check out the great gift ideas and holiday accessories like wrapping paper, stockings and ornaments. Or perhaps you're looking for some great new shirts, sweatshirts, or other metal gear . . . it's all there including lots of new designs.

Still shopping for you?? The live DVD's from Nimes, France and Mexico City, Mexico are now sold out, but never fear, they will be back in stock late this month. We do still have single disc Mexico City DVD's available at this time and the Nimes box set will be in stock again early 2010.

Orders placed before 11:59 PM on Sunday, December 20 will ship before Christmas, but unfortunately we can't guarantee that it will arrive by then. Gift cards and gift certificates are always available to ease the holiday pain. Our offices will be closed from December 24 through January 3, 2010 - we will still be accepting orders but not all orders placed will ship during this time. Have a safe and Happy Holiday and we'll see you next year!"
