DevilDriver frontman issues an update
DEVILDRIVER vocalist Dez Fafara has issued the following update:
"FrankNstine and B just flew in from the east coast to my house, which is decorated for Christmas and my home made chicken soup! It's 50 degrees and gonna go down to 34 tonight / I live for winter in Calif!
We leave for Australia next week and Im looking forward to this run with LAMB OF GOD, SHADOWS FALL and the almighty HIGH ON FIRE, who I will be watching every fuckin night! Always a good time seeing friends and playing with great bands. I appreciate Lamb Of God, yet again for calling on DevilDriver for main support. We always have a fuckin great time together! As well , congratulations to LOG on your Grammy nomination! Hope you WIN! You deserve it!
DevilDriver is main support for all the shows and our set is about 16 songs, were all looking forward to playing down under!
On the writing topic, things are moving along nicely and yer gonna love what's been coming together!
Also gearing up for January/February run with SUFFOCATION, GOATWHORE, and THY WILL BE DONE! Looking like it's gonna be 40 days now as we keep adding shows based on the positive response !
Also it's important to know that the first 100 people to buy tickets at most shows will get early entry into the building and get a chance to meet all of us. Also it's important to know that during these rough times in our country the tour ticket will very reasonably priced. So you'll have money to buy some drinks, if that's yer thing, and get rowdy with all of us on this run! It's an honor to have a band like Suffocation as main support, and they are a band I look forward to watching everynight as well! GoatWhore and Thy Will Be Done are also personal favorites and together this run is gonna be fucking KILLER! A heavy metal tour not to be missed.
I hope everyone is doing fine during this holiday season, try to do something kind for someone else during this time of year. Then extend that year round... Be grateful for those things that are important like family, a roof over your head, and something warm to eat, because much of our country does not have those things right now.
See ya all at the shows!!!!!"
