Trivium bassist comments on tour and recording

Paolo The Gauntlet recently caught up with Trivium bassist Paolo Gregoletto and he commented on the band's current tour with Chimaira. "Everything has been going great. It is nice to be headlining each night and playing the longer sets for fans." He went on to comment on the upcoming Los Angeles stop where the Trivium and Chimaira tour merges with Hatebreed and Cannibal Corpse. "It is a good idea for us to merge the tours. We can put on a much bigger show for fans instead of competing with Hatebreed for the night. We are looking forward to it."

When we brought up the recording of the new album, we were told "We have a lot of material written. I think at the end of January we have some time scheduled to get together before we go off on our tour in New Zealand and Australia. We are looking at getting in the studio in April." Of course we brought up the absent drummer, Travis Smith, and asked if the band will wait for him to come back before recording and Paolo stated "we are prepared to move on if we have to."
