Metallica planning South American tour
METALLICA have checked in with the following update:
"Yes, finally back to South America in 2010!
We've been having such an amazing time on the road that there is no way we're stopping now! So in the first of what will be quite a few announcements of 2010 dates, we are super psyched to confirm that we will indeed be visiting South America in the first part of the year. It is extra special because we're actually going to places that Metallica has NEVER played before, including our first show in the new year in Lima, Peru on January 19, 2010 at Estadio San Marcos.
Tickets go on sale on Saturday, November 14 at 11:00am local time. All the details are here. Met Club members should check www.metclub.com for information about their pre-sale.
This is just the beginning. In fact, we're pretty sure that if you check back here in a few hours, you'll see a few more shows. Your hint for now... more places we have either never played or only been to once."
Jan. 19 - Lima, Peru - Estadio San Marcos
Mar. 07 - San Jose, Costa Rica - Saprissa Stadium
Mar. 08 - Panama City, Panama - Plaza Figal
Mar. 10 - Bogota, Colombia - Park Simon Bolivar
