WINDS OF PLAGUE Vocalist Embraces The Halloween Spirit; Post Misfits Cover Online

Winds of Plague Johnny Plague (vocals, WINDS OF PLAGUE) is a pretty intimidating individual and this is exactly what makes him a perfect candidate to scare the living shit out of people while getting paid for it. Johnny spends every Oct. chasing people in a demented clown mask at the famed Knott's Berry Farm Halloween Haunt. This is one of Johnny's favorite things to do outside of the band (see below).

WINDS OF PLAGUE also just posted their devastating rendition of the Misfits classic track, "Halloween," at www.myspace.com/windsofplague in celebration of Johnny's favorite day of the year. The track can be streamed for a very limited time or purchased exclusively through ITunes.

WINDS OF PLAGUE kicks off their much anticipated Draven sponsored headlining trek, dubbed "The California Love" fall tour on Nov. 20th. That tour also features Stick To Your Guns, Sleeping Giant, Oceano and Circle of Contempt in the support slots. Be sure to visit their MySpace page to view their complete touring itinerary.

WINDS OF PLAGUE have changed the landscape of heavy music upon release of their highly acclaimed, vicious new album, The Great Stone War, which made an impressive debut in its first week landing at #73 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. The new offering is going to quickly propel the band to the forefront of the American metal scene and serve as a much needed wake up call to the genre.
