Killswitch Engage's "The End of Heartache" to Appear on Guitar Hero: Van Halen
Killswitch Engage are pleased to announce that the title track from 2004's Gold-selling The End of Heartache will be featured on Guitar Hero: Van Halen, which is scheduled for release on December 22.
In addition to hit selections from the David Lee Roth era, Killswitch Engage's song will be included among 19 songs from other rock 'n roll luminaries such as Foo Fighters, Billy Idol, Judas Priest, Queens of the Stone Age, Lenny Kravitz, Queen and The Clash!
Guitarist Adam D. was beyond excited about band's inclusion in the game, saying, "Dude, we're wicked stoked to be a part of anything related to Van Halen, let alone Guitar Hero. They could be one of the best rock bands of all time, and I wanted to be Eddie my whole adolescent life! This is super sweet sickness"
In other KsE news, the band is currently touring Canada in support of its latest critically lauded new album, Killswitch Engage, which debuted at #7 on the Billboard Top 200 chart earlier this summer. The band will also shoot a video for "Take Me Away" in its native Massachusetts shortly.
