Members of Papa Roach, Chevelle, and POD form super 'bad' group
Contact Music is reporting that there's a new alternative rock supergroup heading for the world's charts and stages - featuring members of P.O.D., PAPA ROACH and CHEVELLE.
Daylight Division is former P.O.D. guitarist Marcos Curiel's brainchild and features Lukas Rossi - the Canadian singer who won U.S. talent show Rock Star: Supernova and hit the road with another supergroup, featuring Gilby Clarke, Jason Newsted and Tommy Lee.
The band started in January (09) when Curiel and ex-Papa Roach star Dave Buckner started working on new material with ex-Chevelle bassist Joe Loeffler.
Rossi was running an animal rescue centre in Los Angeles with his wife when he got the call from Curiel.
He tells Billboard.com, "These are great, great guys. We all get along. It turns out they've all been in some big bands, but I think we'd still be in a band together even if they didn't do that stuff and I didn't do my stuff."
Two new songs have been posted online and the band plans to have an album together by the beginning of 2010.
