THE 69 EYES are coming BACK for American BLOOD
Even though vampires seemed to have become the new rage in Hollywood, Helsinki's THE 69 EYES are still the original guitar-driven vampire rockers. Sticking to the dark comfort of night time concerts, filled with pulsating crowds of willing victims fans, they're coming across the Atlantic this Fall to feast on play for Americans in their first national tour in support of their upcoming album Back in Blood (release date: September 15th via The End Records). The 69 Eyes will be bringing their patented formula of goth-rock to the US shores, starting in San Francisco and ending up in New York City where the band will also do a performance taping on Fearless Music TV.
Back in Blood moves the band into a heavier musical direction and was produced by Matt Hyde (Slayer, Monster Magnet). The video for their first single "Dead Girls Are Easy" was directed by Bam Margera and world premiered on Playboy.com. BlogCritics hailed the record as "the type of music that you wish your fave hot goth chick would like." Fazer says, "Back in Blood sounds like the soundtrack to a sinful circus of sex, drugs and rock and roll, with The 69 Eyes spitting out their songs with an undying 80's flavor from beyond the grave."
