MONSTER ENERGY ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP CONTEST FOR LOCAL BANDS Log In To Vote For Your Favorite Local Artist On The Crue Fest 2 Tour

This season, Monster Energy and Crüe Fest 2 partnered to put the Monster Energy Stage on the summer's most anticipated traveling rock festival, turning up the Crüe Fest 2 experience to offer fans ten great bands for one price. In nearly every market, Monster Energy empowered local radio stations to run contests for the opportunity for a local band to open the festival on the Monster Energy Stage. Now Monster Energy is taking the opportunity to the next level.

Fans can go to http://CrueFest2.MonsterEnergy.com to see a full list of local bands selected for the tour and find links to check out each band. Starting on September 6th, at the close of the tour, fans will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite local band. The band that receives the most votes will receive a one-year sponsorship with Monster Energy.

Throughout the tour, http://CrueFest2.MonsterEnergy.com will be consistently updated with more bands, video, and links to the bands' websites. Fans can also download a free song from the Crüe Fest 2 mainstage act Charm City Devils, "Let's Rock and Roll" and free song downloads from select Monster Energy Stage bands.

Crüe Fest 2 stars Mötley Crüe with Godsmack, Theory of a Deadman, Drowning Pool and Charm City Devils. The Monster Energy Stage doubles the entertainment value at Crüe Fest 2 with five additional bands - Rev Theory, Cavo, Shram and 16 Second Stare, plus one band chosen locally in select markets, showcasing the next generation of hard rock artists.
