Dave Mustaine thanks fans following neck surgery
As previously reported, MEGADETH frontman Dave Mustaine recently announced that he would undergo "a quick and painless procedure" for a neck injury on Thursday, July 30th. He has checked in with the following update:
"Droogies!
Thank you for your prayers and positive thoughts today, they are working rather well. There is only one thing that we are watching right now and I should be good. I will have one more procedure to face, if I can't heal myself and train myself back into top shape, but I am feeling really great about so many things right now that I think I can take on the world!
I am almost done with our merchandise line for the next season and tour, and we will be changing these up over the next world tour, so if you don't see something that you like, we are going to make more stuff, and there always will be new ideas coming.
I am super-charged about going to Australia and New Zealand, 1) because I love the two Countries, and 2) that wild girl will finally stop posting that New Zealand needs me!
I am at the studio right now and have to finish up my work with John Lorenzi, so I am going to sign off for now.
Thank you all for your support, and please tell your friends to check out 'Head Crusher' and that the new record comes out in 46 days."
