Gorgoroth will not be playing Unholy Fest

Gorgoroth Norwegian black metallers GORGOROTH have issued the following update:

"Gorgoroth will not be playing at Unholy Fest in the Czech Republic on July 24, despite this being reported both on the festival's official website and elsewhere. No deal was ever finalized for the band to play at the festival. The band tried for a long time to negotiate with the promoters to make the festival appearance happen, but negotiations went nowhere due to a lack of communication from the promoters. No deal was ever settled, and Gorgoroth will therefore not appear at the festival."

The recording of Gorgoroth's new studio album Quantos Possunt Ad Satanitatem Trahunt is progressing according to schedule, with a tentative October 2009 release date. The album will be released by Regain Records.
