Lacuna Coil reveals "Shallow Life" details

LACUNA COIL are set to make their return to the forefront of the metal world with the upcoming release of Shallow Life, scheduled for April 21 in North America. The record was produced by the legendary Don Gilmore (Linkin Park, Pearl Jam, Hollywood Undead) at NRG Studios in North Hollywood, CA and features the captivating first single "Spellbound", which made its debut on Sirius-XM Satellite Radio's Liquid Metal. The track is now available via the band's MySpace page.

LACUNA COIL is also set to hit the road for their first North American tour since 2007 as part of the Music As A Weapon IV package, alongside Disturbed, Killswitch Engage and Chimaira. The tour also features a second stage (Suicide Silence, Spineshank, Bury Your Dead), tattoo convention and lifestyle festival. As a bonus for European fans who won't have an opportunity to check out this monstrous trek, LACUNA COIL will be making "Spellbound" available for digital purchase in Europe on March 20th, the kick-off date for Music As A Weapon IV!

LACUNA COIL is also happy to unveil the artwork for Shallow Life (see attachment) and to announce that they will be performing at Wacken Open Air and Grasspop Metal Meeting this summer. 2009 will surely be the year of LACUNA COIL – get ready!
