TRAPT To Headline New "Contagious" Tour Spring 2009

TRAPT are set to hit the road as headliners on their "Contagious" Tour 2009. The trek begins on March 29th in Maplewood, MN and will make its way across the US, with the final stop on May 2nd in New Lancaster, PA. Multi-platinum rockers TRAPT are steadily building on the success of their third studio album Only Through The Pain. Debuting at #18 on the Billboard chart, the album was also the #2 Top Hard Rock Album, #2 Top Independent Album and #4 Top Modern Rock/Alternative Album. The second single off of the album and title track for the tour, "Contagious" has already broken the Top 40 at the mainstream and active rock formats, following the same path as the first single, "Who's Going Home With You Tonight?," which quickly became the #11 active rock hit. Solidifying the connection with fans, "Contagious" saw a staggering 686% increase in digital single sales and a 62% increase in digital album sales for Only Through The Pain on iTunes as the single climbed the radio chart last week. The band will be performing their new hits along with crowd jarring classics such as #1 rock smashes "Headstrong" and "Still Frame" along with #3 rock track "Stand Up."

With the popularity of the band's own social networking website www.onlythroughthepain.com and new single on iTunes, TRAPT continues to be a "Contagious" presence online as well. Over 76,000 people have played their Contagious Online Video Game and the song will be included in the new iPhone game, Tap Tap Revenge 2, with an audience of 2 million people.
