AC/DC, Floyd & Metallica Land Footwear Honors
Bosses at footwear firm Converse are planning a new line of sneakers honoring legendary bands AC/DC, Pink Floyd and Metallica.
The Metallica and AC/DC shoes will feature artwork connected to the rock acts and will be available from the end of this year while the Pink Floyd design, which will include images from the group's classic albums Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here, will hit stores in March 2010.
A The Who shoe, which featured the British Union Jack flag, was released last month and has already become a Converse best-seller.
