EPICA Vocalist SIMONE SIMONS Issues Update

EPICA vocalist Simone Simons has issued the following update:

"Hello sweeties,

Christmas time is coming and I am very excited! I am going to celebrate Christmas with my family in the Netherlands as well as with my German family. I will probably hear 'Last Christmas' from George Michael and 'All I Want For Christmas' from Mariah Carey all the time but that is ok. It is a bit part of it all and the songs are really not that bad.

This year my mom has chosen not to put chocolate Christmas balls into the tree because I eat them all and she would have to redecorate :)

2008 was a year that started off not that good for me but in the end Epica had two very successful tours and I can say that it was all in all a good year and I am looking forward to 2009. We are all sad about Ad's departure but we are wishing him the best and will treasure all his practical jokes we've enjoyed for many years.

Ok everybody, have a nice time with your family and friends these upcoming days and let's have a musical 2009 together!"
