Lamb of God drummer checks in
LAMB OF GOD drummer Chris Adler checks in with the following road update:
"Here's a small year-end update from the road. The shows are amazing and we are playing a little bit of new material every night. Things are going very well. We are all pretty happy to be back out on the road - it was almost a year since our last show and to start things up again in these huge arenas and theaters is pretty amazing. A true testament to our friends and fans - the best, and CRAZIEST, in the world. I've personally missed the shows - the energy, the circle pits and headbanging. It's been nice to take the time at home and reconnect with family, but we've laid dormant long enough... the monster is awake and wrath is coming.
I heard recently that a tune from the record has leaked, don't know if it's true or not, but it wouldn't surprise me. Everyone that is checking out the mixes are losing their freaking minds. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if someone got a bit overanxious.
We are excited about the record coming out in February and being able to play a bunch more of this material... it's a frustrating wait, but will be well worth it. Either way, time is short. I'm certain this record is going to surprise a lot of people. This is not the record our critics will be expecting. I'll leave it at that.
Starting in February we will begin a two-year touring cycle of the world. We are looking forward to seeing all of you once again. We appreciate your support and look forward to delivering wrath on February 24."
