Wretched guitarist recaps 2008

Wretched Wretched guitarist, Steven Funderburk, has responded to The Gauntlet's 2008 recap.

1. Did you have any 'Spinal Tap' moments this year?

Steven: Not so much, but I can def see a lot of them coming my way haha.

2. What were some of your favorite releases this year?

Steven: Planetary Duality by The Faceless, Pretty. Odd. by Panic! At The Disco (PS. this is a great all around album if you're into music from the 1960's.), Colors Live DVD by Between the Buried and Me, Folie a Deux by Fall Out Boy. I like a lot of poppy music!

3. New Year's resolution?

Steven: To go in the studio in January and make the best album that I can.

4. Plans for the holidays?

Steven: Family time, and a 5 day run with Killwhitneydead and The Demonstration across the great tar heel state, and Virginia.

5. What's on your ipod?

Steven: From Mr. Bungle to Panic! At The Disco to Decrepit Birth to Blue Oyster Cult, I've got a little bit of everything.

6. What was the craziest fan you encountered?

Steven: This one guy in Arkansas that let us stay over. He was skitzofrantic and talked a mile a minute. He would go from talking about fighting someone one second, to throwing a cat at a band the next second out of nowhere. There are some crazy people around!

7. If you could bring back one musician from the grave for a day, who and why?

Steven: Randy Rhoads. The music he wrote in the short time he was around, was great, and very influential to many artists of today. I'd love to see what his career would have consisted of had his life not been cut short.

Wretched is currently in the studio recording its Victory Records debut which will be released in Feb 2009.
