Tony Iommi gets star on Birmingham's Walk of Stars
Black Sabbath founder Tony Iommi has been honored with a star on his native Birmingham's Walk of Stars. Driving rain failed to prevent the 60-year-old rocker and his fans from braving the elements at the ceremony, held on the English city's Broad Street on Sunday.
Iommi told his fans, "Thanks ever so much for coming and for standing in this awful weather."
He added that he's proud "to be a Brummie and I'm proud to say I'm from Birmingham."
Former Black Sabbath bandmate Ozzy Osbourne became the first celebrity to be honored on the Walk of Stars.
