FATALIST finishing up work on IBEX MOON debut
FATALIST -- the band formed by ex-members of Exhumed, Uphill Battle, and Stump to play old school Swedish death metal in the vein of Entombed, Dismember and Unleashed -- are currently finishing up work on their debut album, titled The Depths of Inhumanity, for IBEX MOON RECORDS.
About the studio work, guitarist/vocalist Neil Burkdoll says, "We are starting to record the drums for the last four to five songs this week. Hopefully we can get them done within a week or two since we will be doing them at night after work. After that, it should only take about two weeks to do all of the guitars, bass and vocals. Then I have to mix and master it. I'll be recording it all at my home studio, Fecal Sound, like we did with the seven songs that made up the 'Loss' demo."
The album is slated for an early 2009 release.
