Isis to enter the studio this month

Isis Isis will enter the studio this month to begin recording their fifth full-length. The album will be tracked by Joe Barresi, of whom the band comments:

"We could not be luckier than to have the one and only Evil Joe Barresi to be at the engineering helm. Joe has recorded many of our favorite/loudest bands, i.e. Melvins, Tool, Queens Of The Stone Age, Kyuss, etc. It's going to great to have him on board and can't wait to hear the results."

The new effort will surface in early-2009 via Ipecac Recordings (North America), Conspiracy Records (UK/EU), and Daymare Recordings (Japan).
