Metallica's "Death Magnetic" box set missing CD
Fans who have purchase the UK pressed box set edition of Metallica's Death Magnetic album have been finding out that it may be missing on crucial item, the CD. That is a major blunder, especially with the $125 price tag. Several fans have also been posting online that their box set has also been missing the limited edition lithograph.
The box was advertised to include a vinyl version of Death Magnetic, a CD and digital version and the lithograph.
The vinyl version is a 5-LP set.
A note from the distributor to those who purchased online reads "if you open up the box set you may notice it is missing the lithograph and is also missing the CD".
No word yet on how the distributor and label plan to rectify the situation or how widespread it may be.
The Metallica's 12th studio album was released worldwide today (September 12).
