Airbourne drops off Motorhead tour
AIRBOURNE has cancelled their participation in the upcoming U.S. tour featuring MOTÖRHEAD, MISFITS, VALIENT THORR and YEAR LONG DISASTER.
The band says, "After 200+ shows this year, Joel's [O'Keefe, AIRBOURNE lead singer/guitarist] suffering from strained vocal cords and is being forced under doctor's orders to cancel the current USA dates with MOTÖRHEAD. All that is needed is a couple of weeks rest and then the band will be back on the road in Japan this October, and then taking on a Europe tour for the third time in ten months. The band is gutted that they can not play these shows with MOTÖRHEAD and hope to see you all at a show soon."
